Ribbon Challenge

Welcome Back Paper Crafters!
This was for a ribbon challenge from my Upline.  She asked us to use ribbon on a card other than just tying a bow or tying a knot.....So I took up sewing. I used a large needle and our thin crinkle ribbon in Peekaboo Peach and punched holes down my card stock a half inch apart with our 1/8 inch hand held punch.  I threaded the needle down one side and back up again down the other side.  I made sure not to go through the ribbon when I came up the back side of the holes. I fluffed the ribbon out into little puffs and when I was done and tied a bow at the end to secure it to the card stock.  This is truly a unique affect to my card. This seam binding ribbon is thin enough it will fit through the mail and i love that about it! The Designer Series Paper is called "Painted Autumn" and it's beautiful. I matted it in Early Espresso and same with the sentiment.  The sentiment is from the "Painted Harvest" stamp set.  I used the colors from the paper in my card so it all tied together.  Adding a leaf punch in gold glimmer paper to add some sparkle to the project.  I just love the way this card turned out and can't want to send it and make someones day.
