Creative Journal Dimensions
  • I got the journal legal pads at Walmart 3 for $0.98 - size 8x5"
  • The chip board was scrap cut from the back of our DPS or Paper Pumpkin boxes.  It cut at 6 x 8-1/8"
  • The backing cardstock is cut at 7x9"
  • The top cover cardstock is cut at 7x8-1/8" - score at 1/2", 1-1/2", 2"
  • A scrap piece of cardstock to cover where the pen holder goes
  • The pad cover is 10x5" - score at 2', 1-3/4'
  • To decorate using your favorite DSP the top outside piece is cut at 4-7/8" x 8"
  • The Journal cover DSP is cut at 4-3/4"x 7-3/4"
  • The pocket is made out of whatever scrap is left over from the 12"x12" DSP and scored on 3 side at a 1/2"
  • You can add a 1/2" DSP or ribbon on the side of the journal cut at 1/2" x 8"
  • Decorate as you wish but because it could be pulled out of a backpack or bag keep things flat for embellishments.

Case #240 Entertained by us

CASE-ing Tuesday # 240

Taking a layout and using it as a base to make a card is just so much easier than having to think of all the different cards to make on your own.  Stampin' Up! Makes a beautiful catalog that includes so many ideas and layouts.

Today's card was CASE-d from our Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog Page 9.  #240
CASE stands for Copy And Selectively Edit or Copy And Share Everything.
I'll post a picture of this "CASE" down below. 

I used the same basic design as the original card but I decided to selective edit.  I want to encourage everyone to be creative and adventurous when card making.  
I didn't have the measurements so I made up my own.
