OMGOSH! Ever have trouble coming up with ideas?
When I do, I always go back to the basics to recharge.
Either I find a piece of Designer Series Paper that speaks to me for color combinations to work or I find a simple card layout to give me inspiration. Today it was my pansy punch. It's really hard to go wrong with flowers. And I personally love how quick you can make a flower card.
What I love about this card is it is made from our Merry Little Christmas DSP. This shows how if you don't use up all your Christmas paper up this year you can still use it for other projects and I absolutely love that about this paper!
Because today is a HOLIDAY here in the states I am offering some blog candy. Please leave a comment of what you do when you need inspiration and I will enter your name into a drawing for a FREE roll of current Stampin' Up! ribbon.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Well for me I look thru magazines and try to think of ways to bring what I see to life.
ReplyDeleteThat is a great example! I will need to have you list your name in order for me to add you to the drawing. Thank you for your comments.
DeleteI get great ideas from YOU! You know I didn't care for this DSP for Christmas so I ignored it. Now I think I "need" it (hahaha!) for general cards? Thanks for feeding my addiction!

ReplyDeleteSometimes I start with one element, like a stamped image I like, and build around it. But I take most of my inspiration from you! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwww...Thank you! Yes, some times you build around something you love to get the process moving.
DeleteWhen my muse gets up and walks away, I really try to follow her..lol..most often, I can see an ad on the subway or bus, or some of the fantastic graffiti that is everywhere in NYC! All of it inspires me!
ReplyDeleteDo you use the color the combinations from Graffiti to create projects?
