Back to the Basics

OMGOSH!  Ever have trouble coming up with ideas?
When I do, I always go back to the basics to recharge.
Either I find a piece of Designer Series Paper that speaks to me for color combinations to work or I find a simple card layout to give me inspiration.  Today it was my pansy punch.  It's really hard to go wrong with flowers.  And I personally love how quick you can make a flower card.
What I love about this card is it is made from our Merry Little Christmas DSP.  This shows how if you don't use up all your Christmas paper up this year you can still use it for other projects and I absolutely love that about this paper!

Because today is a HOLIDAY here in the states I am offering some blog candy.  Please leave a comment of what you do when you need inspiration and I will enter your name into a drawing for a FREE roll of  current Stampin' Up! ribbon.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  2. I get great ideas from YOU! You know I didn't care for this DSP for Christmas so I ignored it. Now I think I "need" it (hahaha!) for general cards? Thanks for feeding my addiction!

  4. Sometimes I start with one element, like a stamped image I like, and build around it. But I take most of my inspiration from you! :)
