CASE-ing Tuesday # 184

I was trying to make a Valentine's Day card that wasn't too

 "fluffy" and could be used for a man.  

Using the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and the Crackle background stamp gives a rustic feel and I think it helps achieve that masculine feeling.

  By using a pop of red and purple to the neutral colors,

it added just a little romance to this card.

Today's card was CASE-d from our Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog Page 12.  #184

CASE stands for Copy And Selectively Edit or Copy And Share Everything.

I'll post a picture of this "CASE" down below. 

I used the same basic design as the original card but I changed the colors and Stamp sets to what I had in my craft stockpile.  I want to encourage everyone to be creative and adventurous when card making.  

I didn't have the measurements so I made up my own.

I needed a sympathy card for a funeral I am attending today.  

I had shot a video FB LIVE on Wednesday of this week of how to make this as a 

masculine birthday card as pictured here.  

So I decided, instead of reinventing the wheel, I would convert that idea in to a sympathy card. 

Here is the video if you want to see this card being made.  It is a FB LIVE so there is side talking. 

Just remember to emboss first and stamp over with the color.
